Members of the Ho Chi Minh City Executive Committee met together at Paradise Restaurant in Rex Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City on 26 September 2008 to discuss on bringing the newly established Chapter to the next level.

Present that night were Chairman Mr Huynh Quang Hai (MSc (MOT) 2000), Executive Director and CEO of Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park & Township Development Joint Stock Company, Vice-Chairman Mr Hoang Duc Minh (MBA 2005), Associate of VinaCapital Investment Management Ltd, Vice-Chairman, Mr Nguyen Duc Minh (MBA 2006), Senior Investment Executive of Keppel Land Vietnam Properties Pte Ltd and Secretary Ms Nguyen Hoai Thu (BBA Hons 2003), Investment Director of Vietnam Asset Management Ltd.

One of the points discussed was the setting up of a Chapter website, which would enable new members to sign up with the Chapter electronically, disseminate information on alumni activities and also provide current information on Vietnam and its business and investment environment.

The committee also plans to reach out to other members of the alumni who are based in Ho Chi Minh City and the rest of Vietnam in the coming future.
